This policy explains what information Missional ("we," "us") collects when you visit missional.io, how we use it, and the choices you have. Missional is powered by Digicomb.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your name, your church or organization, and your role. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (derived from your IP address). Our hosting provider may also record standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To contact you about early access to Missional and related updates.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run this site. They process information on our behalf:
- GitHub Pages: website hosting.
- Supabase: secure storage of waitlist signups.
- Resend: delivery of internal notification emails about new signups.
- Google Analytics: website usage statistics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Missional, our users or others.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or until we no longer need it to contact you about Missional. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our Analytics account.
Your choices
- Remove or update your information: email hello@missional.io and we'll take care of it.
- Unsubscribe: every email we send about Missional will tell you how to opt out, or you can reply and ask.
- Analytics: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. Contact us and we'll respond to your request.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Waitlist signups can be added from the website but cannot be read back through it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning and organizing mission work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above.
